Congratulations to the Speech Team at the February 28th, 2010, Speech Meet at Ursuline Academy. Our team brought home 8 blue Ribbons and 5 Red Ribbons.

Junior Helen Boyle has been named as a high school All-American volleyball player.
2010 Archbishop May Award
St. Joseph’s Academy is excited to announce that Katie Buer is this year’s recipient of the Archbishop May Service Award. This award was established in 1994 to recognize students who go beyond service requirements and make Christian service an integral part of their lives and a way to share the Gospel message. Katie’s definition of service is "doing something greater than yourself", and she truly exemplifies this definition through her actions.
As part of the award, Katie will be honored with students from 28 other area high schools at an awards ceremony at SLU on April 20, 2010. She will participate in a joint day of service for all award recipients in March. Finally, Katie will give the communion reflection at the Class of 2010’s Baccalaureate Mass on May 23rd. Congratulations Katie!
2009 All-State Volleyball Team
Congratulations to Helen Boyle and Taylor Masterson who were selected to the 2009 All-State Volleyball Team. The team is chosen by the Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association.

Archdiocesan Essay Contest
Congratulations to the following students who were winners in the Archdiocesan Essay Contest: Caroline Brandt won a $750 tuition scholarship, Marie Davidson won a $500 tuition scholarship, and Nicole Esser won a $250 tuition scholarship. We are proud of you!
Empty Bowl Contest

Juliet Knopp is awarded the Fort Zumwalt Sportsmanship Award
On October 24, 2009, Juliet Knopp was awarded the Fort Zumwalt Sportsmanship Award for her excellent sportsmanship in the September 30th softball game against Fort Zumwalt West High School.
