The World Language Students are Really Cooking
Upper Level French Classes Try Some French Cuisine
Madame Steinman and her students from her upper level French class took un petit voyage to the Dierberg’s in Creve Coeur for a sampling of authentic French cuisine. The class, worked together to prepare a five-course meal.
They made Coq au Vin, Salade Nicoise, Soupe a l’Oignon, Natte and a
Wonderful Gateau Mousse au Chocolat.
Wonderful Gateau Mousse au Chocolat. They did a great job and after the meal was prepared we all sat down and enjoyed eating it.
Some of the girls had never eaten some of the foods but they tried everything and loved it.
Spanish Club Prepares Authentic Mexican Comida
This is the fourth year that Spanish club has gone to the Dierberg’s School of Cooking. The focus this time was on real Mexican food.
It was important that the students learn that restaurants like Taco Bell, etc. do not reflect authentic Mexican cuisine.
Our students totally participated in the preparation of the meal. Everyone in the group was more than willing to taste everything.
It was all so good, we ate it all!!!
