Grading Systems & Graduation Requirements
Requirements for Graduation:
The following credit requirements must be met by all students at St. Joseph's Academy.

A student may carry a maximum of 7.25 credits per year (with the exception of freshmen taking Chorus). Any student wanting to take more then 7.25 credits per year must have prior approval of the principal.
Note: No schedule changes may be made after seven days of classes each semester. Full year classes may only be dropped at the beginning of first semester.
In addition, each student is required to particpate in service projects. The requirements are:
- Freshmen: 10 hours of service
- Sophomores: 14 hours of service
- Juniors: 18 hours of service
- Senior Service Project is a minimum of 90 hours during her senior year, according to the procedures outlined in the Parent-Student Handbook.
