Objectives
- To encourage initiative on the part of both students and teachers.
- To stimulate interest in further research by the student.
- To provide students with the opportunity to assume responsibility for unstructured time.
- To enable teachers to be available for individual help.
Organization
The official school day (structured and unstructured periods) extends from 8:15am-3:05pm. The schedule is a 7 day cycle. Each class day within the cycle is organized into 7 periods. Classes vary in length, meeting 5 or 6 of the 7 days during the cycle for full credit courses. Five minutes are allowed for passing time between classes.

Period 2 -- 9:25-10:20
Period 3 -- 10:25-11:10
Period 4a-- 11:15-11:45
Period 4b-- 11:50-12:00
Period 4c-- 12:05-12:35
Period 5 -- 12:40-1:25
Period 6 -- 1:30-2:15
Period 7 -- 2:20-3:05
