College Counseling: College Fairs

National College Fair in St. Louis

Each fall NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) hosts a college fair. The fair will be held on Sunday, October 19th, 2008 from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at the St. Louis University Simon Recreational Center, 3639 Laclede. It is an opportunity for students and parents to learn more about the broad range of choices that are available as young people continue their education beyond high school.

  • Over 200 colleges and universities from at least 35 states will be represented at the fair.
  • A Counseling Center will be provided with teams of high school counselors from public and private schools in the area. They will be available to provide assistance in college/career selection for students and parents.
  • Seminars will be conducted for parents and students to assist in the decision making process. Topics will include: Identifying Financial Aid and How to Choose a College.

As the date of the fair approaches, participating colleges will be listed on the NACAC website, www.nacac.com/exhibit/fair.cfm
