College Fairs
Jesuit College Fair
In early September representatives from Jesuit colleges and universities around the country visit St. Joseph's Academy. The reps will meet with interested students in the dePaul Room at 11:00-11:30 am. The date will appear on the school calendar.
National College Fairs in St. Louis
Each fall and spring NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) hosts a college fair. It is an opportunity for students and parents to learn more about the broad range of choices that are available as young people continue their education beyond high school.
- Over 200 colleges and universities from at least 35 states will be represented at the fairs.
- A Counseling Center will be provided with teams of high school counselors from public and private schools in the area. They will be available to provide assistance in college/career selection for students and parents.
- Seminars will be conducted for parents and students to assist in the decision making process. Topics will include: Identifying Financial Aid and How to Choose a College.
Fall Fair
In the fall, the NACAC fair is held at Saint Louis University. This is generally in October and notification of the specific date and the schools attending will be distributed to the students when received.In the spring, the NACAC fair is held at Maryville University. This is generally in April and notification of the specific date and the schools attending will be distributed to the students when received.
