Traditions: Father-Daughter Dinner Dance
The Father-Daughter Dinner Dance is an annual tradition at the Academy held every January. This event is sponsored by Student Council. The students are dismissed early from school to get ready for the big night.
There are two recent traditions that have been started at the SJA Father-Daughter. The Top Pop Award are awards given to the fathers who have attended the most Father-Daughter Dinner Dances per class, and the Overall Top Pop. At the event, there is also a senior slide show shown at the event of seniors and their dads. There is an opportunity for seniors to purchase the slide show if they are interested.
It is a great time for all SJA fathers and their daughters to have a great time together.
